Hey! I'm Raahim

I’m a Multimedia Designer and 2D Animator from Pakistan, currently based in Toronto. I recently completed my BFA with Honours and Distinction in Experimental Animation from OCAD University. Over the past five years, I’ve been freelancing and collaborating with clients across Pakistan, Dubai, and Toronto, creating impactful visual content for both local businesses and global brands. I’ve had the opportunity to work with companies like Head & Shoulders, Virgin Mobile, Nestlé, Standard Chartered Bank (Pakistan), and Roots Canada, and I’m currently collaborating with Tim Hortons Pakistan as a freelance designer. My professional experience also includes working in design agencies as a Junior Designer, where I developed strong skills in marketing, promotional design, and social media content creation across platforms like Instagram and TikTok. With a multidisciplinary background in graphic design, animation, illustration, and traditional art, I love blending storytelling with brand strategy to create visuals that feel both intentional and expressive. My work often explores South Asian identity, humor, and cultural storytelling, using color symbolism and materiality to bring deeper meaning into each project. Whether I’m designing a digital campaign or crafting an animated narrative, my goal is always to create visuals that resonate emotionally while celebrating brown culture on a global stage.
