This is an illustration I made for a magazine article that discusses stories of sexual assault in Pakistan in order to break the stigma. This particular illustration depicts the burden sexual assault victims have to carry around after they have been violated. I've used a stack of books to symbolize the heaviness and toll sexual assault has on victims. Each book's title is about the side effects of assault that victims experience.
